Plant Care Guide

Peperomia Hope

Botanical Name: Peperomia rotundifolia, pep· er· ROH· mee· uh  ro· tun· dih· FOH· lee· uh

Common Names:  Peperomia Hope, Peperomia Tetraphylla Hope, Jade Necklace, Trailing Jade

Peperomia Hope is an adorable, low-maintenance plant characterized by small, green, coin-shaped leaves and a trailing growth habit.

Light Requirements

Bright, indirect light is ideal but it will tolerate moderate light as well.

Water Requirements

Enjoys a deep watering once the soil has mostly (or completely) dried out. Tip: It is always better to underwater than to overwater.

Troubleshooting and Tips

When placed in low light conditions your peperomia will become leggy as it grows.

A sign that your peperomia needs watered is when the leaves start to droop, and the stalks become evidently limp. The plant will readily spring back once you give it a good watering.

If the leaves begin to yellow or the stalks and leaves are turning soft and mushy, the peperomia is most likely suffering from being overwatered.
