The rabbit’s foot fern plant gets its name from the furry rhizomes that grow on top of the soil and resemble a rabbit’s foot. These rhizomes grow over the side of the moss ball, adding an extra dimension to the plant.Â
Light Requirements
Medium to bright light is ideal.
Water Requirements
Keep evenly moist during Spring and Summer and allow the soil to reach dryness in cooler weather. Tip: It is always better to underwater than to overwater.Â

Brown edges on fronds indicate a lack of humidity.
Limp fronds is a clear sign of overwatering.Â
Pale to lime green fronds are an indication that your houseplant is receiving too much light and needs to be relocated to a lower light spot.Â
